Please use the link on the left of the page to view the pictures. 7/27/08 The puppies eyes are beginning to open! 7/22/08 The Puppies are a week old today! New pictures posted...use the "Week One" link on the left to view the pictures. 7/18/08 The puppies were all checked out by the vet today...everyone is very healthy! They then had their dewclaws removed and their tails docked. Everyone is doing great. 7/16/08 Seven beautiful puppies born July 15th, 2008! Four girls and three boys. Below is the times they were born along with their birth weights.
Star and all the puppies are doing great! 7/15/08 PM The puppies are arriving! So far 3 boys and 4 girls. I will post more info later. 7/15/08 AM Well still no puppies, but she is continuing to do very well. We had her checked out at the vet this morning and everything looks great. Guess we just have to wait a bit longer!! 7/14/08 am Her temperature has dropped! She is moving between periods of restlessness, and rest. We believe she is in the first stages of labor. I think we should see puppies within the next 24 hours! 7/13/08 Only two more days until her due date!! Star is doing very well...no signs of labor yet! 7/9/08 Only 6 more days until due date. Star has really slowed down these past two days. It has been tough for her carrying around her big belly. We have started monitoring her temperature. A drop 2 degrees signals that labor will start within 24-48 hours. The Whelping box is set up and all supplies accounted for. I also went and got some more comfy blankets for the puppies. Stay tune! 7/4/08 Below are two pictures we took of Star yesterday! She is doing very well. :) 
7/2/08 Only about two weeks left until Star's due date!! Star is doing very well and is actually getting quite large. I hope to get some new pictures posted of her in the next day or so. 6/25/08 Well the pregnancy is moving along right on schedule. Star is continuing to do very well and is finally slowing down...some. I just snapped this picture and thought it was too cute not to share. Spencer has decided that Star's expanding belly makes a good pillow :) Feel any brothers and sisters moving around in there Spencer? 
6/22/08 I finally got the picture scanned! Here is a sonogram picture of one of Star's babies. Star is continuing to do great, though as with the past litters, we have had a hard time trying to convince her to take it easy! She is obsessed with ridding our back yard of ground squirrels, rabbits and birds. 
6/16/08 Well we had the sonogram done today and it is confirmed...Star is pregnant!! We could count 6 puppies, but there is very possibly more than that. We did get a picture of one of the puppies, but my scanner is not working. I will try and get it scanned and on this page by the weekend. Puppies due July 15th. 6/15/2008 Because of our disappointment that Dani and Stoli did not have puppies, I have been cautious about speculatig about Star, despite seeing several positive signs. She is doing very well. She is starting to get a little belly. We do have a sonogram scheduled for Monday afternoon! 5/13/08 This is the place where we will keep you up to date on what is happening! Star and Rebel have been bred...Puppies are due July 15th 2008! |
